GENERAL INFORMATION



Do you offer rates that are not all-inclusive?
No, we only offer all-inclusive package rates.

Is there a specific smoking policy?
Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited throughout most of the resort including but not limited to common areas, dining venues, bars, suites, suite decks, and balconies. We do however offer secluded designated smoking areas. A cleaning fee may be incurred for smoking in smoke-free areas.

Is a credit card required at check-in?
Yes. A pre-authorized hold may be applied.

Is pre-arrival check-in available?
No, we do not offer pre-arrival check-in.

Upon arrival, can I upgrade my room?
Yes, additional fees apply and upgrades are subject to availability.

Do I need to bring money and exchange my currency to Dominican Pesos when I arrive?
Your all-inclusive package includes meals, drinks, entertainment, and many fun activities. However, we recommend bringing extra cash for off-site expenses, spa services, tours, and transfers. The resort will provide currency exchange services subject to availability. Cash payments are accepted in US Dollars and Dominican Pesos.

Is there a secure place to keep valuables?
In-room safes are included in all room categories. Our resort is not liable for unattended items.

Are children/kids allowed at the resort?
Hilton La Romana Family Resort welcomes guests of all ages, and Hilton La Romana Adult Resort welcomes guests of ages 18+.

What is the tipping policy?
All tips and gratuities are included in your all-inclusive package. Additional gratuities are most welcome by our staff should services exceed your expectations.

Can I drink the local water?
We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, the resort will provide access to filtered water at all times.

Does the resort provide medical services or support?
A medical doctor is available on-site at an additional cost. Certified lifeguards are available in pool and beach areas, first aid is provided on a 24-hour basis for emergencies. The resort will hold a limited liability for medical emergencies incurred by guests.

What is the minimum age for check-in?
18 years of age.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.

Are babysitting services available? If so, is there a fee?
Available at Hilton La Romana Family resort only, babysitting services may be booked 24 hours in advance for an additional cost, and are subject to availability and specific terms and conditions. Please contact our concierge desk to learn more.

What credit cards does the resort accept?
Visa, Master Card, and American Express, only.

Is there an ATM at the hotel?
We have an ATM available in the lobby of Hilton La Romana Adult Resort. Guests from the family resort of ages 18+ can access it.

What is concierge service?
Our concierge desk will be your first point of contact for any questions that you may have. Concierges can also assist you in booking both on-site and off-site activities. Our concierge desk is available from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.


INCLUSIONS



What's included in my all-inclusive package?
All drinks and meals are included. On-site entertainment, fitness facilities, non-motorized aquatic sports, daily outdoor and indoor activities, in-room minibar, and free wifi. Tastings and multiple social activities are also part of the all-inclusive package.

The following services are not offered as part of the all-inclusive plan, except as otherwise provided:

• Spa & beauty services
• Third-party on-site boutique stores
• Off-site tours and excursions
• Airport transfers, taxis, local shuttle services, car rentals
• International telephone calls
• Certain specialty wines and spirits, certain premium meals
• Laundry and dry-cleaning services
• Private group events and romantic dinners
• Beach and pool cabanas

If I am a guest staying at Hilton La Romana Adult Resort, do I have access to the neighboring family resort?
Yes, you will have regular access to the facilities, restaurants, and bars.

If I am a guest of age 18+ staying at Hilton La Romana Family Resort, do I have access to the neighboring adult resort?
Yes, you will have regular access to the facilities, restaurants, and bars.

Does the resort offer a Day Pass service?

Does the resort have a swim-up bar?
Each main pool has a swim-up bar, Hilton La Romana Adult Resort has an additional swim-up bar exclusive for Enclave guests.

Does the resort have an infinity pool?
All Enclave guests of ages 18+ have special access to the infinity pool located at Hilton La Romana Adult Resort.


TRANSPORTATION



How far is the resort from the airport?
We are located at an approximately 45-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), and a 75-minute drive from Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ).

Are airport transfers included to and from the resort?
No. However, the resort can offer assistance in arranging airport transfers offered by third-party vendors at an additional cost. You may book airport transfers and other transport services prior to arrival via email: [email protected]

Does the hotel provide transportation around the local area?
No, however, the front desk can assist you in calling a local taxi service.

Is parking available at the resort?
Yes, we offer guest-only free self-service parking, valet parking is not available.

What are the dress codes for the different restaurants?

- Shoes, shorts, and tops must be worn at all restaurants, guests cannot be barefootl
- No wet clothes allowed at any restaurant

Our dress code guide is not definitive. Resort dress codes are subject to the discretion of each specific venue, and also subject to change.

Do I need to make dinner reservations?
Reservations are not required. Our restaurants operate on a first-come, first-serve basis with the exception to the teppanyaki table and sushi bar of our Pan-Asian restaurant located at Hilton La Romana Adult Resort. A maximum of 8 guests are allowed for each table at each venue.

Our reservation policy is subject to the discretion of each specific restaurant or bar, and also subject to change.

If I am a vegetarian or have special dietary needs, will I have adequate options?
Yes, the resort offers gluten-free, vegetarian options, and additional assistance in accommodating special dietary needs (please notify the resort ahead of time).

What are the different dining options for kids?
Children's menus are available at all restaurants at Hilton La Romana Family Resort. Hilton La Romana Adult Resort welcomes guests of ages 18+ only.

Do you offer premium branded spirits?
Yes, cocktails made with international and national premium branded spirits are available as part of our all-inclusive experience. Enclave guests will enjoy cocktails made with top-rated spirits at our VIP Lounge. Specialty wines and spirits, such as champagne are available for purchase.

Is there room service?
Yes. 24-hour, all-inclusive suite service is available, limited to the total number of guests per suite. A delivery fee applies to standard room categories.

What types of beer are available?
International and local brands.

Are there age requirements for entering bars?
Yes, the legal drinking age in the Dominican Republic is 18+. Only guests of ages 18+ can access the resort bars.

Do any of the restaurants and/or bars close during certain times of the year?
Restaurants and bars may be temporarily closed due to renovations, maintenance, and/or other reasons. Please consult the weekly restaurant schedule with our concierge team.

Which restaurants are recommended for large parties? Does group-dining need to be planned?
Tables for a maximum party of 8 are allowed at each restaurant. Reservations are not required, seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis with the exception to teppanyaki table and sushi bar of our Pan-Asian restaurant located at Hilton La Romana Adult Resort.

Do you offer private or romantic dining services, in-room or at the beach?

ACCOMMODATIONS



We are traveling with a couple of friends. Can we request adjoining or connecting rooms?
Yes, connecting rooms are available at an additional cost per night (subject to availability). They can be arranged on-site or by email: [email protected]

Do you offer accessible rooms for people with disabilities? Is the resort wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we offer accessible rooms, these are equipped with accessible bathrooms, handrails, and are located on the ground floor. Please contact us to learn more and to book. Most common areas of the resort are wheelchair accessible.

Can I book a specific room online?
You may only book a room category online, and not a specific room.

What is the difference between an Ocean View and an Oceanfront room?
Oceanfront rooms offer unobstructed, panoramic views of the ocean. Ocean View rooms offer partial views of the ocean.

Are there balconies in all rooms?
All rooms offer either a terrace or balcony, dimensions and views vary by category.

What types of beverages are included in the rooms?
In-room minibars are included and refreshed daily with soft drinks, bottled water, and beer.

What type of beds are offered?
We offer King and Queen beds. Specific details on bedding configurations per suite category are outlined on our suites page of website.

Do I need to bring an electrical adapter?
All of our suites are equipped with standard North American sockets (Type A, sometimes Type B). If traveling with European, Asian, or non-North American appliances/devices, we recommend bringing an adaptor. Please note that our rooms do not offer 220V sockets.


ACTIVITIES



What type of activities are included in my stay?
Hilton La Romana offers varied land and water activities including non-motorized aquatic sports, a diving clinic, pool games, language and dance lessons, beach volleyball, ping-pong, board games, and more. Please visit our activities page of the website for a general overview. Upon your arrival, you’ll be able to access our mobile Digital Concierge tool, offering an interactive view of ongoing resort activities.

What is the difference between an activity and an excursion/tour?
Activities are included in your stay such as games and fitness classes. Excursions or tours are optional off-site activities offered by third-party vendors at an additional cost.

How can I arrange tours and excursions outside the resort?
Please contact our on-site tour desk: [email protected] . External tours are available at an additional cost.

Are cabanas available for rent?
Yes, for an extra fee, and can be booked per day.

Are spa treatments included? If not, what is the price, and can they be booked in advance?

What types of fitness activities are offered?
Access to a fully-equipped gym, outdoor activities such as cross-fit, power walks, yoga, aqua-zumba, core and stretching, and aqua-cycling. Fitness activities are subject to change and availability.

What types of watersports are offered?
A wide variety of watersports are available such as outings in catamarans, kayaks, paddle boards, and hobie cats. We also offer an introductory diving tutorial. Watersport are subject to change and availability.

Do you offer a waterpark? Is it accessible to all guests?
A waterpark is available to guests of all ages at Hilton La Romana Family Resort. Guests staying at Hilton La Romana Adult Resort can access the waterpark.

Are there activities for children?
Available at Hilton La Romana Family Resort only, we offer kids and teens clubs with adult supervision. A variety of activities are offered. Hilton La Romana Adult Resort welcomes guests ages 18+ only.

Is entertainment included, if so what type of entertainment?
Yes, daily entertainment is available in different areas of the resort. For more detailed information please consult with our concierge desk.

Do you offer on-site photography services? Would this need to be planned?

Are the pools heated?
No, our pools are generally temperate without the need for additional heating.

Can I sunbathe topless on the beach?
No. Due to local regulations, nudity is not allowed in beach areas.
